Genuine Care and Empathy
Believes in a Multi-faceted Approach and Finding the Best Care for Each Client
Roxanne specializes in helping people work through traumatic experiences which leave them feeling “stuck”. While an incident may not seem traumatic, trauma is subjective. An event may be traumatic enough to prevent full enjoyment of life. She uses EMDR and other interventions to help clients resolve issues and a wide range of problems, from a single car accident to years of childhood abuse.

Specialized First Responder Care
I grew up in a civic minded family. My grandfather and my father were both Police Chiefs in my town as well as members of the volunteer fire department. Many of the men I grew up calling Uncle were policemen and firemen from our department. My grandfather, father and uncles all served in the Military from World War I, World War II, and the Korean War. I have had first-hand experience seeing some of the struggles first responders suffer due to their work. I have treated policeman and soldiers in my practice. I am excited to be a part of creating The 11th Hour because I believe so many first responders need an intensive program which is designed specifically to meet their unique needs so they may get a “jump-start” on healing.
There is nothing quite as powerful as words of praise from a patient or colleague. Here what some of them have to say!
Rachel Starr has a mastery of in-depth emotional therapeutic work. She brings to her clients her experience, skill, compassion, intuition, and commitment.
